Make A Wish - DRU
Hello, and welcome. Today is my last post as part of the Dies R Us team. I am stepping done since the holiday season is busy for my shop. I will be sharing with you today a shaker card
I am sure you are like me and you have rolls of washi tape to last a lifetime. Here is a little tip match the print up and create a pattern paper with it. Adhere this to a card base. My card is 7" x 4" so I did the pattern paper a 1/4" smaller.
I love these edger dies. All I did was run it through my die cut machine and took a craft knife ad removed the inside to create a frame. Now on the back of the frame, you would want to use a strong double-sided adhesive to attach a piece of plastic, I used an old page protector. After, the plastic is in place cover the inner frame edge with a foam adhesive. Set aside while we create the confetti. Now with the mini dies I did multiple cuts of each. This will be part of the confetti filler in the shaker.
In the center fill the card up with the confetti die cuts and sequins. Since this shaker fills the entire card front I added a lot of filler.
Now, remove the foam adhesive backing from the frame and carefully line it up to the card. Press the frame edges down firmly to ensure no confetti of escaping. Give it a shake and you are now done.

Stick It Down April Reveal
How about a little card inspiration for today, featuring April's card sketch from Stick It Down.
I opted to change it up a bit by moving the sentiment strip.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (My Min's Eye), sequins (SpiegleMom Scraps), stamp and die (Stampendous), dye ink (Hero Arts)
I did a cheat on this birthday card. I just received this stamp set from a giveaway and the packaging came with the great colored images of the elephant and leaves so I die cut it out.
Here is a closer look. You know I couldn't resist adding some sequins.
If you play along this month you have a chance to win $20 credit to Handipaper, they offer amazing cut files for electric die cutting machines. Also, one winner from each sketch to be a guest designer!

Fabulous - SID March Reveal
Hello everyone, and welcome to my March card sketch reveal for Stick It Down blog.
I started by rotating the sketch. I made this card for my mom's birthday in May but wanted to do it with the March sketch so I had a birthday theme card for my birthday month.
Supplies: cardstock (Cardstock Warehouse and The Paper Studio), pattern paper (My Mind's Eye) die cuts (Studio G), stamp (Hero Arts), ink (Hero Arts and Altnew), manul dies (Crafter's Companion), dots(?), and stick (Studio Calico)
One of my 2020 goals is to use up all my collections in my stash that have little pieces left. This card help with that goal.
I got this manual dies in the Crafter's Companion 2019 Advent calendar. I love them. This month's sponsor is the following:
Thanks for stopping by and check back often now since I have nothing but time on my hands to give this blog some love.

Santa All I Want....
I am getting closer to finishing scrappy 2017 photos. I only do one Christmas layout for my album since I do a December Daily mini album. This page was based on a Sketch Savy sketch that a scrapbook group used for their monthly scrapbook challenge.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Echo Park Paper Co.), die cuts (American Crafts, Pretty Little Studio) manual dies (Sizzix), stickers (Echo Park Paper Co. and Simple Stories), flair (Fancy Pants Designs), trim (American Crafts and Ladybug(?)), sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps)
Here is a closer look at the corner cluster.
I meant to type the journaling but remembered after I already adhered the card to the layout.

Black, White & Gold Christmas Card Set
Can you believe this is my second post for today and expect one more later on. This post is for a card set that I created with this week's CAS-Ual Fridays challenge. I have been a long follower of their blog but never got to play along, that is until now. This week's challenge was black, white with a pop of color.
Here is my take on it. I opted for gold as the pop of color. This color combo looks so elegant for Christmas cards.
Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics and American Crafts), pattern paper (Scrap Works), stamps (Studio Calico and Close to My Heart), inks (Tsukineko and Versamark), manual dies (Spellbinders), die cut machines (Spellbinders), embossing powder (Stampabilities) and brad (Quick Quotes).
Here is a group shot of just the cards.
I used pop dots under the sentiment frame to give it more interest since I layered it on top of the same color cardstock.
