Looking Back

While here we are at another end of a year. A time to reflect on what has happened in the last 12 months but for this girl it is a look back of the favorite projects of the year.
Here are my top 12 projects of the year, or the ones that are on my computer and I am too lazy to get photos of the other items.

I loved this page. I got to use a lot of old products on here.
    A fun valentine card
   My first TN spread.
I think is one of my favorite because I never saw a hot air balloon go by our house before.
   My grandparent's anniversary card.
I actually did a pinned project.
My first time doing something with a day in the life photos.

I love the fun flag border.

The first skirt that I sew that had a zipper.
Altering wood floor samples and wood stamp blocks.
My first layout as a guest designer for the Wild Hare Kit Club
I am loving making these fauxdoris.

Here to hoping 2019 will just be as creativity filled.

Dec. Card Stick It Down Reveal

Hello everyone. After a whirlwind of the past month, I am posting. This card I will be sharing with you is based on the current month;y sketch over at Stick It Down.

When I created this card it was a little tricky since I wanted to use larger elements on the card. I think it came out well.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Echo Park Paper Co.), stickers (Echo Park Paper Co.), sequins (Spiegle Mom Scraps), die cut (The Paper Studio), and frame punch (We R Memory Keepers).
Here is a little closer look. I love the glittery snowflake.
You have until the end of the month to play along with any - or all! - of the sketch challenges over at Stick It Down. Just post a link to your creation to their sidebar on the blog. If you share on social media, be sure to tag #StickItDown.

Layout Smile - The Wild Hare Kit Club

I meant to post this layout that I created here earlier in the week but I kept getting sidetracked by yard work or cooking. Anyways, enough of the excuses.
Here is the layout that I created of my dad using my September's hand-curated kit by The Wild Hare Kit Club.

Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Pebbles and Pinkfresh Studio), wood veneer (Pebbles (sequins (SpiegleMpm Scraps), die cuts (Pinkfresh Studio), flair (?), and stickers (Pinkfresh Studio and American Crafts), and bakers twine

Here is a little closer look of the hand-stitched arrow. To see more details head on over to The Wild Hare Kit blog.

My First TN - The Wild Hare Kit Club

I can't believe I am going to say this but I did my first ever traveler's notebook spread and I LOVE it. When this trend first hit the scrapbooking industry I said: "That is NOT for me".  Boy, was I wrong? I have been wanting to do a cooking/baking theme scrapbook but doing a big album seemed unrealistic since it would take a lot of real-estate.

So here is my first TN spread in my cooking theme book. All items used on this page was included in my September's kit from The Wild Hare Kit Club. Plus, I even used this month's sketch as my inspiration. You can check out the sketch and a more detail post here
Supplies: pattern paper (Jillibean Soup, Pinkfresh Studio, and Pebbles), die cuts (Pinkfresh Studio), and stickers (American Crafts and Pinkfresh Studio)

As you can see I even used a puffy sticker on the spread. I love that the Pinkfresh studio puffy stickers are not bulky.

Happy Sunshine and Fun Adventure

Hello, everyone. Today, I am going to share a layout that I created that is based on August 1st sketch from Sketches in Thyme
Here is my take on this sketch. The layout is of my grandmother that I never knew.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (ColorBok, K & Co.,Crate Paper,Simple Stories, Studio Calico, and Pretty Little Studio), stickers (Fancy Pants Designs, Heidi Swapp, My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper), mist (Tattered Angels), mask (American Crafts), manual die (Heidi Swapp), tools (Spellbinders and Fiskars), doily (DoodleBug Designs), and sequins (Studio Calico)

I love this journaling card, it seems to fit the layout perfectly.
