December Stick It Down Reveal

It is the last card sketch reveal for 2019 at Stick It Down. This month's sketch inspired me to create a fun Christmas card.
Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts), pattern paper (Echo Park Paper Co.), sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps), die (Quickutz), vellum   (Quick Quotes?)

Here is my take on it.

I may have gone a little overboard on the snowflake but I am from Michigan after all so snow is a big thing here.
Our September sponsor is Love to Scrap challenge blog! Leslie will be providing a prize pack to one lucky winner this month!

Dec Daily Album (Photo Heavy)

I know it is still November but in this household, I am all in for Christmas. I am that one person who puts their Christmas decor up right after Halloween and I also do my Dec. Daily album prep. I always do all my foundations pages so I usually just have to journal and print picks after each day.
This year I bought my first ever Dec. album kit. I got everything from Scrapbook.com.
I also picked up a few other items to go along with the kit.

Now, here is the photo-heavy part of the post. I am taking you through all the pages.

Here is the front of the album. A funny thing happened when I was decorating this. I ran the gold number die cuts in the sticker maker machine and when I went to remove them from the backing a backing was left on the sticker backing. I didn't know that these things were adhesive die-cuts. Nowhere on the package did they say they were adhesive.
Here are the pages. I didn't glue anything down in the pages so I will be able to switch stuff around for days I have a lot of photos or no so much.

November Stick It Down Reveal

Well, where has this month gone to? I can't believe we are over halfway through this November and that means it is time for a new sketch reveal from Stick It Down
As you can tell this sketch is a "messy" style but can be changed up to fit anyone's card style.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), embossing folders (Project Life), dye ink (Close to My Heart and Tsukineko), stamp (Simon Says Stamps), manual die (Heidi Swapp), tools (Spellbinders and Sizzix), and sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps)

I did a faux letterpress on the card to create the starburst design the sketch had. I then added the one item I am addicted to which is sequins.

Be sure to play along with Stick It Down this month there is a lovely prize package filled with goodies.

October Stick It Down Reveal

Here is a little angle look. I love adding a little dimension.

Birthday Cards WCMD Recap 2

Today, I am going to share with you a few of the birthday theme cards that I created on World Card Making Day.  The 3 that I will be sharing with you feature the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps

The first one is my type of card, a pop-up explosion box card. This one would be great for a kid's birthday.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Simple Stories and American Crafts), stickers (Pretty Little Studio), stamp (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps), ink (Tsukineko)

The nest card would be a great birthday card for her. It is filled with layers.  I based the card on a sketch from Sketch~N~Scrap sketch

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (American Crafts), journaling spot (My Mind's Eye). stickers (American Crafts), embossing folder (Momenta), stamp (CAS-ual Fridays Stamp), ink (Tsukineko), sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps), twine (My Mind's Eye), embossing machine (Sizzix)

The last card is a super simple card that I was in a hurry to do since my favorite show, Heartland, was about to come on. This was also based on a Sketch~N~Scrap sketch.

Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts and The Paper Studio), washi tape (American Crafts), embossing folder (Momenta), stamp (CAS-ual Fridays Stamps), ink (Tsukineko)

Thanks for stopping by and reading this long, picture heavy post.
