Stash Busting Challenge

Last week while surfing a scrapbooking message board I saw a post of a fun stash busting challenge by JillScraps, Instagram name. Create a kit and make three projects.

I thought it would be fun and get me back into the scrapbooking mood. I had to get creative on some of my items because I was afraid that I was going to run out of letters for titles so I used a cut apart alphabet sheet as a specialty paper and my super old no longer in business item was the polka dot letters from Scenic Route. Also, I didn't have any unopened packages of items so I used a package of flair that only had one missing from the Hello Heather Beautiful Day collection by Pretty Little Studio.

Here is my kit. This week I am going to share my projects I created with it. I have all three layouts done and I still have stuff left so I am going to make a couple of cards.

Birthday Wishes Tag

I am so sorry, that it has been 2 months since the last post. In the summer, it seems like the blog gets put on the back burner while I spend my time on other social platforms.

Today, I am sharing a cute tag that I created last night for the Where Creativity Meets C9 #11 challenge, embossing. I opted to do heat embossing. I am in a tag making phase since I have so many cards made. Tags are something I am in need of since I stick them in my Etsy orders

I broke out my glitter embossing powder and heat embossed the cute citrus stamp from Concord and 9th. I then watercolored the tag with gelatos.

Supplies: watercolor paper (Faber-Castell), watercolor crayons (Design Memory Craft), stamps (Concord and 9th and Simon Says Stamps), embossing powder (Stampin' Stuff), ink (Versa Mark and Stazon), and twine (Bella Creationz)
