Celebrate Card

This card I created from a scrap pack I got at Hobby Lobby by K & CO. years ago. I pieced pieces together to make  a quilt design. I did this for the Frosted Designs Friday challenge.

My Dad

I am sure you have a love one that makes a funny face whenever you take a snapshot, for me it is my Dad. If I take ten photos of him half of them would be funny. Since he always does this I thought it would be a great layout to capture him. I used #11 sketch from Let's Get Sketchy

Mother's Day Hop

Welcome to your third stop. If you didn't come by the way of Melissa Johnson., go back to the start to Amanda because you don't want to miss any of these projects.
I am going to share with you a card and a necklace I made for my mom this year.
The card was made with three different collections from Cosmo Cricket (Early Bird, Salt Air and Jolly By Jolly - the banner was made with it)
Up next is a rolled flower necklace. I know it is not the kind of necklace you had in mind but my mom like camouflage material so I thought she would love this.
All you need is:
1 1/2" x 15" strip of fabric folded in half width-wise.
Chain
Hot glue
Beads
Felt

Steps
1. Cut a 2" circle out of felt.
2. Glue one end of the strip in the center. Twist stripe and glue down. Let it coil around itself.
3. Trim any excess felt off the flower.
4. Cut a strip of felt and glue to center of chain so it looks like a tab. Glue tab to back of flower.
5.Glue on you beads.

Your next stop is to Robyn .
Enjoy.

Robin's Nest Review.

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a gift card over at Robin's Nest. It was the first time I ever bought stuff from them and let me say I was impressed with most of the stuff I ordered.
Here is what I got.
Front side of paper

Reverse side of papers

Stickers, clipies and ribbon
Pros:
  1. The papers are great quality, sturdy and most of them are double sided, which I didn't know until I got them.
  2. The Santa clippies are made with a sturdy chipboard that has a slight give which makes it easier to side over ribbon or paper.
  3. I just love that blinged out ribbon it came with the extra bonus rope. I already use some of the rope.
  4. Shipping was very reasonable. It only cost $5 to ship it to Michigan from Utah.
Cons:
  1. Sad thing was the stickers. They looked like something you could print off yourself at home and their print quality was poor. It looked like on the birthday ones their printer was running low on ink which left ink lines through the images.
Conclusion:
I am happy with my stuff but will stay away from the stickers next time I order from them.
