Feb Stick it Down

I am glad the weekend is here because the deep freeze that hit Michigan a couple of days ago is gone. I don't like -15 temps and that was without the windchill.
Today's post is a quick reveal post of this month's card sketch at Stick It DownThis month's sponsor is Jenny at Scrappin Happy Studio. specializes in handmade scrapbook embellishments, such as flair epoxy. All my products are handmade in her home studio, in the beautiful state of Oregon!
You can visit Jenny at her Etsy store and on Instagram.
One winner will receive a $20 store credit to the Scrappin Happy Studio!

Here is my take on this sketch. I am planning on giving this card to my dad for Valentine's Day.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and Colorbok), washi tape (Scotch Brand), manual die (Spellbinders), tools (Beautiful Mess, Cricut, Spellbinders, and MISTI), markers (Crafter's Companion, sticker (Pinkfresh Studio), stamp (Simon Says Stamp), and ink (Memento)

As you can see from this angle that I did a fun cut-out window with a manual die. I think this is the first time I ever did this on a card.

This stamp originally had a pizza slice in the dog's mouth but I masked it off when I stamped so I could have it holding a heart instead.

Be sure to play along with Stick It Down for your chance at winning the $20 prize certificate.

Here is my take on it.

Oh Yeah! Starting Room 203 - SBC #485

Can you believe it is already June?  Time is going by fast and I can't wait for all the fun things summer has to hold, even though it means work outside long hours at this storage business.
Enough of my ramblings. Here is today's Scrapbook Challenges sketch #485 reveal.

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (American Crafts and Crate Paper), journaling cards (My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories), stickers (Studio Calico, October Afternoon and American Crafts), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Cricut) and transparency (American Crafts).

Here are a couple of closer looks. I love that overlay on this photo since there was no real focal point in the photo because it is all clutter.

Those "space" chipboard stickers have been in my stash for so long that I have always wanted to toss them when I did some organizing but they always found their way back into the drawer. I think they worked on the page since this page was a about a storage space renovation.

Watch Him Grow - SBC #FBF 129

Today's Flashback Friday sketch at Scrapbook Challenges is a very simple one that is super easy to change up for any style.
Here is my take on it. I scrapped photos of my brother that were taken at different times but he was wearing the same sweater.
Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts and Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Crate paper and American Crafts), chipboard (Crate Paper and Pink Paislee), stickers American Crafts), floss (DMC), stitching template (American Crafts), die cuts (American Crafts), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut) and Glossy Accents (Ranger).
HE are a few close-ups. I decided to stitch "grow" in embroidery floss since it was easier to thread the needle than the bakers twine, which I knew was never going to happen with my vision changing.
On the white clouds I applied glossy accents to them to create some interest.

The Sightseers - SBC Liftapalooza

Here is the inspiration piece from Katie that Scrapbook Challenges  shared for this scraplift challenge.

I think this would have to be my all time favorite page I have created so far in 2016. I am loving that pattern paper is minimal and stickers came out to play, which didn't look like the sticker snezzee.
Supplies: cardstock (Die Cuts With a View and Bazzill), pattern paper (American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs and Studio Calico), die cuts (Studio Calico), Stickers (Studio Calico, Pink Paislee and American Crafts), tags (Studio Calico), enamel dot (My Mind's Eye), doily (Doodlebug Designs), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut) and pen (Project Life)

Here are a few close ups. I journaled about some fact of this historical Hollywood site and of who was in the photo.

I love all the layers around the photo. I have flat stickers, die cuts and chipboard pieces all tucked around the photo.

Finishing Up - SBC Liftapalooza

Today over at Scrapbook Challenges we are featuring the Ali.
Here is the page that we are showcasing as the lift inspiration.

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Quick Quotes, Studio Calico and American Crafts), washi tape (Hazel & Ruby and We R Memory Keepers),wood veneer (?) tags (Chic Tags, K &Co., Heidi Swapp, Studio Calico and Elle's Studio), stickers (American Crafts and Studio Calico), chipboard (Studio Calico), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut) and pen (Project Life)

Here are a few close-ups. I love using up little word stickers and tags on pages like this since it is hard to figure out embellishments that would work.

A lot of times I use enamel dots ad the dots for "I"s on my die cut titles because I don't have to bother gluing down those tiny dots down.

The Upgraded Building #1 - SBC #FBF

For flashback Friday's sketches at Scrapbook Challenges you never know what to expect. This week's it is a double page spread.

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzil Basics and American Crafts), pattern paper (KaiserCraft and American Crafts), stickers (Studio Calico and American Crafts), washi tape (Scotch Brand), masks (The Crafter's Workshop) mist (Tattered Angels), manual die (Spellbinders), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut), modeling paste (Liqutex)manual die cutter (Spellbinders), chipboard (Um Wow Studio), and pen (Project Life).

I didn't have much to write about so I did journaling strips on both pages. Simple and it kind out fit with the feel of this page.

Here is a closer look at the title work.
