Make a Wish Shaker Style

Last month I made a card that I loved and didn't know if I should sell it but I decided to list it on my shop anyway. I figure if I like it so much I could always make another one even though it would be made from different items since most of my cards are one of a kind. Fast forward to the current challenge over at Cas-UAL Fridays challenge, shaker cards. I knew he was my chance to try to recreate that first card I was in love with.

   Here is my shaker card.
Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics and The Paper Studio), pattern paper (PhotoPlay, Simple Stories and Fancy Pants Designs), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye), chipboard (Crate Paper and Simple Stories), sequins (SpiegleMom Scraps), stamps (Stampabilities, Studio Calico, and Peachy Keen Stamps), mist (Heidi Swapp) ink (Tsukineko) and stamping tool (MISTI)

I ended up using a plastic sheet that came from a pack of cork stickers for the "glass" window.

Now, this card is one I love as much as that first one.

Oh Yeah! Starting Room 203 - SBC #485

Can you believe it is already June?  Time is going by fast and I can't wait for all the fun things summer has to hold, even though it means work outside long hours at this storage business.
Enough of my ramblings. Here is today's Scrapbook Challenges sketch #485 reveal.

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (American Crafts and Crate Paper), journaling cards (My Mind's Eye and Simple Stories), stickers (Studio Calico, October Afternoon and American Crafts), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Cricut) and transparency (American Crafts).

Here are a couple of closer looks. I love that overlay on this photo since there was no real focal point in the photo because it is all clutter.

Those "space" chipboard stickers have been in my stash for so long that I have always wanted to toss them when I did some organizing but they always found their way back into the drawer. I think they worked on the page since this page was a about a storage space renovation.

Yummy Take Out.

Last Thursday, a early National Scrapbook Day challenge was released over at Scrap Our Stash and The ScrapRoom blog's. They teamed up to create this very inspiring challenge.

Sketch was done by a Steffanie Seiler of The ScrapRoom
This was the stash list from Scrap Our Stash.
The underling words are the ones I used on my layout.
S ~ Sequins, Staples, or Stickers
T ~ Tags, Tape, or Transparency
                                                    A ~ American Crafts, Ampersand(&), or Arrow
S ~ Stencil, Stick Pins, or Striped Print
                                                    H ~ Hashtag (#), Heart(s) or Hemp (cord)

Supplies: pattern paper (Basic Grey and Simple Stories), jounaling cards (Project Life and Simple Stories), chipboard (Pink Paislee and Studio Calico), stickers (Elle's Studio and American Crafts), die cuts (American Crafts and Simple Stories), twine (Bella Creationz), stitching template (American Crafts), pen (Project Life), wood veneer (American Crafts), sequins (Crate Paper).

Here is a closer look. I love how the stitched number dresses up this box.
I am loving the layer tag from Shimelle's True Stories collection. I even dressed it up more by adding foam adhesive behind the ampersand.
Here is the journaling. I left if super simple since I am going to be doing a pocket page that goes along with this page. Right now, I am loving mixing those together for celebrations or whenever I have a lot of photos from the same day.
