Today is the last project I am sharing over at The Wild Hare Kit club as their September's guest.

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Pink Paislee, Carta Bella), die cuts (Pinkfresh Studio), stickers (American Crafts), sequins (SpiegleMom Scraps), wood veneer (Pebbles), twine (?)

National Scrapbook Day Recap

Hello everyone, I took a little crafty hiatus in April so I didn't lose the creativity on National Scrapbook Day. I spent all day Saturday scrapbooking and still took breaks for cooking.

I got to do a scraplift and this page of my dad as a little boy has to be one of my favorite layouts that I had did that day.

I was able to get my past birthday scrapped.
The "celebrate" on the large photo is one that I brush-lettered. I am currently learning it and so far I am loving it.

The last set of pages I created was about Easter.
I had to make a card on this day. Of course, I created this and missed the deadline for entering it in the challenge.

S & J

Earlier this month was my parents' 37th wedding anniversary so this page is to document it. I used the Scrap Our Stash tic tac toe challenge.
I chose the last row for my three options, dictionary paper (background), kraft (Happy Note card), and circle (the & and flair badge).
Supplies: pattern paper (Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants Designs and Pretty Little Studio), journaling cards (Simple Stories), stickers (American Crafts and Fancy Pants Designs), flair badge (Studio Calico), sequins (SpiegelMom Scraps), wood veneer (Little B) stamps (EK Success), black dye ink), embroidery floss, sewing template (American Crafts), and punch (Beautiful Mess)

Here is a little closer look at the title. I love using letters from printed papers as part of the title.

Walking the Pier - SBC #FBF151

Welcome to another month of challenges with Scrapbook Challenges. This month there will be a flashback Friday sketch every other week and a challenge on Wednesday on the week there is no #fbf sketch.

This week's sketch is based on a super old sketch #151

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and American Crafts), pattern paper (Die Cuts With a View and Crate Paper), chipboard stickers (Pink Paislee and Studio Calico), stickers (Studio Calico), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Cricut) , mist (Tattered Angels and Ranger( and pen (project Life)

As you can see I kept this page on the simpler side.

Watch Him Grow - SBC #FBF 129

Today's Flashback Friday sketch at Scrapbook Challenges is a very simple one that is super easy to change up for any style.
Here is my take on it. I scrapped photos of my brother that were taken at different times but he was wearing the same sweater.
Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts and Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Crate paper and American Crafts), chipboard (Crate Paper and Pink Paislee), stickers American Crafts), floss (DMC), stitching template (American Crafts), die cuts (American Crafts), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut) and Glossy Accents (Ranger).
HE are a few close-ups. I decided to stitch "grow" in embroidery floss since it was easier to thread the needle than the bakers twine, which I knew was never going to happen with my vision changing.
On the white clouds I applied glossy accents to them to create some interest.

The Sightseers - SBC Liftapalooza

Here is the inspiration piece from Katie that Scrapbook Challenges  shared for this scraplift challenge.

I think this would have to be my all time favorite page I have created so far in 2016. I am loving that pattern paper is minimal and stickers came out to play, which didn't look like the sticker snezzee.
Supplies: cardstock (Die Cuts With a View and Bazzill), pattern paper (American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs and Studio Calico), die cuts (Studio Calico), Stickers (Studio Calico, Pink Paislee and American Crafts), tags (Studio Calico), enamel dot (My Mind's Eye), doily (Doodlebug Designs), electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut) and pen (Project Life)

Here are a few close ups. I journaled about some fact of this historical Hollywood site and of who was in the photo.

I love all the layers around the photo. I have flat stickers, die cuts and chipboard pieces all tucked around the photo.

Hello Grandma - SBC Spelling Bee

This month's spelling bee challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges was a little bit of a challenges to me since I am one who don't think things are lucky. After giving it much thought on what I could use I decided the only thing I do that can bring good things in "Prayer"

In the word "Prayer" I had to use paint (painted the back of the transparency) , rhinestones, acrylic (camera embellishment, thanks Kelly), yarn and eyelets.  Here is what I created.
Supplies: pattern paper (Crate Paper and Fancy Pants Designs), velum (?), stickers (American Crafts), eyelets (Provo Craft), grommet (We R Memory Keepers), transparency (American Crafts), journaling cards (Project Life, Pink Paislee and Webster's Pages) doily (Doodlebug Designs), gems (Studio G), yarn (?), acrylic shape (Freckled Fawn), washi tape (Little B) and paint (Americana).

I love how the yarn title came out. Tip: make sure your glue tip is clog free. You might get the glue in big blobs instead of a nice thin line. I am not saying this because that happened to me or anything like that. ;)

I titled this "Hello Grandma" because I never knew her. She died when my mom was 16. Of everything I heard about her she was the type of grandma that would spoil you. There are a lot of stories about trips for candy, ice cream etc.
