Poppies Blooming Card

For my birthday, I go a set of Spectrum Noir markers.  I may or may not have been drooling over for the last two years. I soon went out on a search to find the perfect coloring stamps. In this upcoming card I used one super pretty stamp and a CAS(E) sketch #119.

Once I started coloring this stamp image the design of this card went a little off the sketch. Instead,  of just the cute little icon on the side mine went across.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and American Crafts), markers (Spectrum Noir and Faber-Castell), stain (Ranger), stamps (Studio Calico kit and Stampin' Up!), ink (Memento), pen (Project Life) and punches (EK Success)

Even with just a monochromatic card like this I was still able to make an envelope seal to match. To make the punch flower pop on it I just outlined it with a pen. Don't look to close at my pen stitching, I wasn;t wearing my contacts so I was only doing it with one eye.

Our Love & Joy

Let's Get Sketchy March week 1

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Echo Park), stickers (American Crafts), doily (Sunny Side Bakery), mist (Tattered Angels) and electronic die cutter, software and cartridge (Provo Craft)

After I created this page I only had a small pile of scraps from the "Time & Seasons" collection so I set out to eliminate that package from my stash. I am happy to say I got three cards and matching envelope seals from the scraps.

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Echo Park), doily (SRM Stickers), stamp ink (Memento), mist (Studio Calico) and stamps (The Paper Studio, Peachy Keen Stamps and ?)
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Echo Park), doily (SRM Stickers), mist (Studio Calico), stamp ink (Memento), embossing machine and folder (Sizzix) and stamp (The Paper Studio)

I can say I now have my dad's Father's Day card.

You're Invited - CCB

This week over at Canvas Corp. Brands blog the creative crew members are sharing easy to mass produce invitations. These cards are ones that you wouldn't mind creating 50.
Mine you just need a few supplies. You could get 6-8 cards out of two sheets of pattern paper. In other words, cost is very reasonable.
Supplies from Canvas Corp Brands:
Other:
Stamp ink (Memento)
Stamp (Studio G)
Doilies (Doodlebug Designs)

Click on collage to get a closer look at my process.
Step 1: Adhere pattern paper with liquid glue to card front.
Step 2: Adhere doily.
Step 3: Fussy cut out one of the vintage polaroids, apply the paper tape to the bottom and adhere to card.
Step 4: Stamp sentiment onto tag and adhere.
Step 5: To decorate the envelope just adhere the paper tape to the flap of the envelopes.
Here is the finish product. Simple to create but they look stunning as if they did take a long time.
Thanks for dropping by and be sure to head over to the Canvas Corp Brands blog to see what the whole crew created for this challenge.

A Fusion Card

Last month, while looking at Amy Tsuruta's blog I came across a great card challenge site, Fusion Card Challenge, that she is a part of their team. I played last month but never posted it in time for the challenge but this month I am making sure that doesn't happen again. When I saw the challenge I thought this was totally me. I am in love with the colors of the room and the sketch was a little different than my usual design.

I ended up doing the fusion challenge, that means I used the room (color) and sketch.
Supplies: pattern paper (Crate Paper and Close to my Heart), doily (Doodlebug), sequins (Hazel & Ruby), washi tape (We R Memory Keepers), punches (EK Success), stamp (EK Success), ink (Memento), sticker (Echo Park).
