Last week, I got to play along with the "
Let's Get Trendy" five day challenge. I was able to complete all five without having to buy anything for them. All I had to do was do some stash digging and get a little more creative.
Day 1 was neon. I found some embossing powder that I had for a couple years that sure screamed neon. This page of my mom helping out at my class at church when I was little.

Day 2 was all about sequins. I love the look of them but I never use them since I only have a couple of colors. For this page I use this PageMaps

Day 3 was all about handmade embellishments. I die cutted the little coffee cups and arrows and this page.

Day 4 was stitching. I used twine to stitch the star on the card front. I used this PageMaps
sketch to create this shaped card. This card I am also entering in Love My Tapes
June challenge. I think my dad is going to like this card.

Day 5 was all about textured layers. This had to be the easiest challenge of all since I love to do textured layers. I also this this was my favorite. I used textured paste, textured paper and other interesting things. This page is of why I love to create. Pics are from the aftermath of National Scrapbook Day.
