Birthday Wishes Tag

I am so sorry, that it has been 2 months since the last post. In the summer, it seems like the blog gets put on the back burner while I spend my time on other social platforms.

Today, I am sharing a cute tag that I created last night for the Where Creativity Meets C9 #11 challenge, embossing. I opted to do heat embossing. I am in a tag making phase since I have so many cards made. Tags are something I am in need of since I stick them in my Etsy orders

I broke out my glitter embossing powder and heat embossed the cute citrus stamp from Concord and 9th. I then watercolored the tag with gelatos.

Supplies: watercolor paper (Faber-Castell), watercolor crayons (Design Memory Craft), stamps (Concord and 9th and Simon Says Stamps), embossing powder (Stampin' Stuff), ink (Versa Mark and Stazon), and twine (Bella Creationz)

2016 Crafty Highlights - Scrapped

I figure it was about time for me to scrap the crafty highlights of 2016. When I saw the #303 sketch from Creative Scrappers I knew this would be perfect to document those highlights.
Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Crate Paper and American Crafts), chipboard (Crate Paper and Studio Calico), modeling paste (Shimmerz Paintz), journaling card (Project Life and Simple Stories), stencil (Stencil Girl), typewriter (We R Memory Keepers), and watercolor crayons (Design Memory Craft).

The journaling card that I used as the title was fussy cut so it would fit onto the page.

I just had to add a little touch of my favorite color, blue, on this page.

Doesn't the distress fringed paper and bunting add such a cute element to this page?

Hey It's Been Awhile Heat Resist Card

Here is my take on it.

Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics and American Crafts), watercolor crayon (Faber-Castell), doily (Doodlebug Design), stamps (My Favorite Things and Gel-a-tins), ink (Tsukineko and Stampabilites), embossing powder (Stampabilities), punches (EK Success) and heat gun.

Here is a closer look at the resit part of the card. I ended up creating a "Project Life" style card that features a daisy flower down with heat resist technique. I love how it came out but found out that I needed to get some new clear embossing powder since I saw a few color specs in the powder.

This stamp is super old from My Favorite Things.

Ombre Love Card

Over the weekend, I got to play along with the My Favorite Things "Camp Create". This post is for the awesome ombre challenge
You know me I am in love with ombre and it is so easy to do with watercolor crayons.
Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics), stamp (Gel-a-tins), ink (Tsukineko), doily (Doodlebug Designs), watercolor crayon (Faber-Castell) and punches (EK Success)

   Here is a closer look.
This card is so simple but is very stunning.
