Projects of the Week

This week the crafting bug hit me hard. Besides making the purse I have made 5 single page layout, 1 double and 5 cards. Today, I am going to share with you the cards. The four birthday cards I am entering them into the Moxie Fab World Birthday Card Challenge.
The thing that contribute to this is my thumb is finally better. The start of this year I injured it when I got it caught in a big, heavy cast iron pan I was washing. I am no longer wearing the brace to keep it from popping out of its joint.
The first two cards are created for the 10-minute craft dash.
This first card took me 6 min. and 35 sec. The funny thing was I had my timer set for 5 minutes instead of 10. I used S~N~S #5 card sketch for this.
Supplies: cardstock (Die Cuts With a View), pattern paper (October Afternoon), punch (EK Success), brads (?), twine (Timeless Twine), ink (Stampabilities), stamp (Inkadinado)
This card took the full 10 minutes. I am in love with this one. I ended up using this card for another challenge on a private board I am on.

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and Close to My Heart), pattern paper (Echo Park and  Crate Paper, gelato (Faber-Castell), twine (Timeless Twine), ink (Stampabilities), stamp (Inkadinado), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Provo Craft), and doily.
The next two card used this sketch from Artful Delight.
The first card I was not crazy about when I finished it but it has grown on me.
Supplies: cardstock (Close to My Heart), pattern paper (Bo Bunny), washi tape (Queen & Co. and Doodlebug Designs), stamp (Deep Red Rubber), ink (Stampabilities), embossing powder (Gel-a-tins), fabric (K & Co.), overlay (Colorblok), doily, dew drops (The Robin's Nest), gelato (Faber-Castell), and Stickles
This card has lots of layers and details that I am loving.
Supplies: pattern paper (Pebbles Inc.), washi tape (Bella Blvd.), rhinestones (Eyelet Outlet), stickers (Simple Stories), brad (S.E.I) punch (EK Success), and doily
This card was made using the Paper Secrets card sketch. I also made it for a challenge on a different private board.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Studio Calico) stamp (Studio G), ink (Stampabilities), trim (Hobby Lobby) and rhinestones (The Paper Company)
Tomorrow I am going to share with you the layouts.

Thanks for the Opportunity

Good day everyone. Today it is my last day here as part of the design team. To commemorate the day I made a thanks card to share with you to say thank you for the lovely time here.
This card features are special this month diamond dew drops and are monthly partner Timeless Twine.
Supplies:
Other:
Liquid glue
Markers
For a the little arrows I covered the paper with glossy accents and laid a piece of twine on the top. This gave the arrows a glassy look.
I love the twisted twine on banners it gives them more interest.
For the seal I punched a star out and adhere it on top of circle of corresponding paper.
Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stack up on the diamond dew drops this month. They are
20% off. Also I like to thank Timeless Twine for the twine we worked with this month.

Quick Card Set

Today, I am going to show you a simple card set. I know that does not sound right for me since I love layers but I kept it simple since the card base was embossed.
It is package in kitchen parchment paper and tied with my favorite color of twine, Aqua Blue.

I created four of the same cards but embellished them differently with the twine and bling.
I simply underlined the sentiment.
Outlined the design in the sentiment.
Made coils.
Added an arrow that pointed to the sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed the aqua blue twine card set as much as I do.
What is your favorite twine color? Show us your favorite color creation on our Facebook page
Thanks,
