Happy Birthday Love Card - Scrappin' Everyday Miracles

Happy Labor Day to My US friends. Enjoy the unofficial official last day of summer. I am already enjoying the cooler temps. Yeah. September looks my crafting time will have no design team deadlines which seems very odd but I am enjoying the time to be able to play with challenges.

This card sketch is from the September Scrappin Everyday Miracles .

Here is my take on it along with its matching envelope seal.
Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics and Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (My Mind's Eye and Basic Grey), vellum (Studio Calico), embossing folder (Project Life), texture paste (SpiegleMom Scraps), foil (Heidi Swapp), manual die (Heidi Swapp), manual die cutter (Spellbinders), stamp (Stampabilities), ink (Tsukineko), punches (EK Success) and embellishment (Crate Paper)

I love how this card looks. I wanted to use up the foil piece on something since the scrap had been sitting on my work surface for the paste month.

I love that little crepe paper medallion. It adds just the right amount of texture to this area.

I also love how the card looks like at this angle.

Baby Blessings

Here is a  cute card set for a baby shower that is all tie up with baker's twine from Timeless Twine. I love their twine and I am not saying that because I am part of their design team.

 Supplies:
Twine I used from our partner this month.
Items from my stash
Doilies
Tags (Coredinations)
Embossing folder and machine (Sizzix)
Stamp (Karen Foster)
Ink (Stampabilities)
Electronic die-cutter and cartridge (Provo Craft)

Each card is a little different.
I used my Cricut to cut the vellum. I placed a piece of cardstock under the vellum and outlined the words. To adhere it in the card I glued it where the cardstock was so the adhesive won't show.
I used some of the stickers for my envelope seals.
Here is the whole set.
Thanks for stopping buy and I hope you stop by the store and stock up on your diamond dew drops while they are on sale this month.

Happy at the Robin's Nest

Hi everyone. I hope your Easter week is going as plan. Today, I am showing you another birthday card. I am celebrating my birthday all month long since it landed on the same day as Easter.
Supplies:
Pink Oval Journaling Spot
White Glitter Alphabet Stickers
Epiphany Crafts Square Epoxies and Tool
Stamp
Black Ink Pad
Mini Brad
Doily
Spray Mist
Corner Punch
There is over 50 dew drops on this card. I love the way it looks along one side.
For the envelope seal I just cut a 1" square piece of paper and made it into a pinwheel.
I love how the Epiphany Crafts products are easy to use. I used it to create the fun "Happy" banner.
The crackle paper and mini dew drops are 20% off this month so be sure to stop by the store and stock up. Also the Robin's Nest Easter Egg Contest ends soon.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.

Lucky 13

I am here to show you my project for week 2 of ABAC's current challenge.Since it's the 13th Challenge we want you to think about superstitions, the number 13, magic, luck, bad luck, good luck etc.

Supplies: October Afternoon (washi tape) DoddleBug Designs (washi tape) EK Success (roller stamp), Stampabilities (ink) American Crafts (Thickers) doily, burlap butterfly, stickpin and polymer flower.
Thanks, Brianna for the last two goodies. I love them

Crochet Flower Gone Bad

A couple of weeks ago I saw this cool video the web of making a crochet flower out of twine. I thought that was a neat idea. I sat down and set to work. An hour later, I still had nothing that represents a flower. After messing around with different stitches I ended up with the number 8.
Here is what I did.

1. Chain 5 on a I hook.
2. Slip stitch in first chain. It will make a ring.
3. Chain three and do nine double crochets in the ring.
4. Chain 7.
5. Repeat step 3 until the second ring is filled with double crochets.

Here is the finished card I used this number.

Supplies: white cardstock, celebrate paper by My Mind;s Eye, pattern paper - Lily Bee Designs, washi
tape - Queen & Co. , twine - Timeless Twine.
Stop by TT blog and see more info on the twine.
