Stamped Single layer Season's Greetings Card

Over the weekend, I got to play along with the My Favorite Things "Camp Create". This post is for the bonfire Craft – single layer savvy

Here is my take on the challenge.
Supplies: cardstock (Canvas Home Basics), markers (Spectrum Noir), stamps (My Mind's Eye and The Paper Company), punch (Fiskars), and color pencil

I am in love with this card. I am still a newbie with alcohol markers so the shading is off but it is still a cute outcome.

I ended up coloring the banner with a coloring pencil.

Documenting the Lunar Eclipse - SBC #FBF

Scrapbook Challenges Flashback Friday sketch is based on sketch that was used for the 2014 design team call.
Something about this sketch made me want to use a few of the many photos I took of the blood moon
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs and Studio Calico), punches (We R Memory Keepers and Fiskars), stickers (October Afternoon and American Crafts), stamps (American Crafts, Glitz Design and K & Co.), flair (Basic Grey), marker (Faber-Castell), washi tape (My Mind's Eye), diy enamel dots and electronic die cutter, cartridge and software (Cricut)

Here is a close-up on the journaling.
To create the tab on the on the paper folder, I used the envelope punch board.

Receiving of Gifts - SBC #456

Sorry for posting this late. I have been super busy today in the kitchen. Today, I made falafel and pizza (that includes the sauce and pizza dough). Let's just say that was the best pizza I ever had.

Today, is #456 sketch reveal over at Scrapbook Challenges.  I love the clean lines of this design.
However, I added my own twist.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (American Crafts), stickers (American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs, and October  Afternoon), twine (Timeless Twine), mask (The Crafter's Workshop), punch (Fiskars), journaling card (Project Life), mist (Tattered Angels), brad (My Mind's Eye), overlay (American Crafts), die cuts (American Crafts), tag (Studio Calico kit) and pen (Project Life).

Here are some of the close-ups. To give the "gifts" stickers a little depth I outlined them with a 05 pen.
For guy pages, I have the urge that some sort of modeling paste needs to be on it so here it is. I just love the chicken wire design.
The tag had a pre-punch  heart design on it. I just stitched it in with my favorite color of twine., Key Lime Sorbet. I also created the tassel and the arrow was fussy cut from a journaling cut-apart sheet from American Crafts, I believe on of the Amy Tan's line.

Envelope Recipe Keeper

Over at Canvas Corp Brands blog the entire creative crew were issued a challenge to create a way to save recipes. For this I knew I didn't want to create a normal recipe box but I didn't know what to create until I go the mail a couple of weeks ago. In the mail were some cards from a pet rescue. I always keep the cards to make gift tags but this time I also kept the envelopes. I left the envelopes on my desk when I started to start this challenge. When I made the cards I ws like these fit perfectly in them so I just went with it. In the end, I had something like this.

Supplies from Canvas Corp Brands:
Other items:
Sewing machine
Black thread
Doilies (Doodlebug and Sunny-side Bakery)
 Bias ribbon
Corner punch (Fiskars)
Ivory envelopes
Directions:
1. Cut cardstock to 4" x 6" and pattern papers to 3 3/4" x 5 3/4". Adhere and punch corners.
2. Fussy cut cooking pots from pattern paper. Adhere and paint with the glimmer glam.
3. Tie cord to tag and attach to recipe card.
4. Decorate the fronts of envelopes with doilies tags and mist.
5. Stack envelopes and stitched along what would have been the bottoms
6. Glue ribbon on the back. Let dry and braid the loose ends.
7. When done add the tape to the front and tie close.

The finish project.

Here is what each page looks like.

Christmas Pajamas Are You Kidding Me?

I have been a long time fan of Paper Issues and last week I got to play along with their sketch #06

Supplies: pattern paper (Heidi Swapp), chipboard (October Afternoon), die cuts (Fancy Pants Designs), washi tape (American Crafts), doily (Doodlebug Designs), mask (Prima), modeling paste (Liquitex), sequins (Studio Calico kit exclusive), mists (Heidi Swapp and Tattered Angels) punches (EK Success and Fiskars), tag (Pebbles Inc.), tag (Elle's Studio and K & Co.), stickers (American Crafts and Elle's Studio) and twine (Timeless Twine).

I did a little modeling paste work in the first square. I love the lace mask from Prima. I am so happy I got that one at Christmas.

To add a little more interest to these packaged diecuts I did some pen stitching along the white border of the deer.
I used miss to color in the printed sentiment that was on the background paper.
