So Stuffed

Over the weekend, I finished scrapping my last batch of printed photos of the main 2017 events. The page I am about to share is for the Scrap Our A Stash Jan.15th-29th Blend-A-Sketch Challenge.
I scrapped some of the food photos of Thanksgiving. I blended the sketch by using 4 photos and the journaling area from the first sketch and the angle and title placement from the second sketch.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Photo Play Paper and Fancy Pants Designs) die cuts (K&Co., Jilllibean Soup, Pretty Little Studio, My Mind's Eye, Scenic Route), stickers (Simple Stories and American Crafts), journaling spot (Making memories) , brad (My Mind's Eye), enamel embellishments (Crate Paper), rhinestones (?), embroidery floss (We R Memory Keepers), doily (DoodleBug Designs), typewriter (Typecast), stitching template (American Crafts) and washi tape (My Mind's Eye)

I ended up using a really old journaling spot on this page, it was from Making Memories. I used a mix of stitching and Thickers for my title.
I love the doilies peeking out from the edge and accented by the rhinestones and enamel shapes.
That tag is a free printable from Pretty Little Studio's collection Sweet Life. I printed it on parchment paper which gave it a softer tone.

Halloween in July?

Yes, in the middle of summer I am scrapping halloween photos of last year's pet costume contests. I took Buster to Petco )he came is second. The minions beat him) and I also went to Soldan's contest that was held at a movie theater (he didn't place but came home with a big bag full of prizes).  Yes, I dressed up as a hippie with Buster a the last contest since it was pet and pet parent. It took me about a week to complete Buster's outfit. My favorite part was the wig.

This week is sketch #402 reveal over at Scrapbook Challenges.
First, I must say my Halloween theme scrapbooking items are small. I have two paper collections, a mini pad and a handful of embellishments. I don't find it that challenging to do this holiday since I like using my basic items in new ways.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Authentique and Echo Park), eashi (My Mind's Eye), stickers (My Mind's Eye and Authentique ), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Provo Craft), paperclip (Maya Road), chipboard (Um Wow Studio), journaling card (Project Life), mist (Studio Calico), modeling paste (Liquidex), mask (Hazel & Ruby), DIY enamel dots, doily and wiggle eyes.

This was the first time I used one of the masks from Hazel & Ruby with modeling paste. I love that they are sticky on the back of the mask so I didn't have to worry about them moving around while I was smearing the paste. See that sticker with the bike wasn't halloween theme but it look of it fits well with this page.
Here is a close up on the journaling. I am loving the shape clips by Maya Road.
By taking a pair of wiggle eyes and sticking them in the O's I was able to add a spooky/silly element.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you had a great weekend.

Product Challenge

Today's birthday challenge for S~N~S has to do with baker's twine, of course. I love my twine and I thought  this would be a time to do a product challenge.
On this page I used the twine to frame my photos and I also did a doodle trail.

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio) pattern paper (American Crafts and Craft Paper), stickers (October Afternoon) washi tape (Target), border punches (Fiskars), mists (Heidi Swapp), electronic cutter and cartridges (Cricut), twine (Timeless Twine), arrow (Scenic Route), paper clip and doily.
I love the twine trail and the little star confetti from my border punch.
I use glossy accents is my glue of choice. I let it set up a bit before I lay my twine onto it.
Now, it is your turn to have some create a layout or card and upload it below. One lucky person will win this:
Ten yards of each color of twine.
If you are an international winner I will give you a $20.00 gift certificate to the Scrapbook Nerds store.
If the linking tool don't work just leave the link in the comment section. You have until June 28th  12 a.m. to have your card or layout posted.

Texture and Circular Challenge

This month's technique challenge over at Embellish Me Happy is  to use circles  This is the main challenge but over at EMH we like to make it a little more fun. Here are some ideas that complement this challenge
   1.  Using Texture!  There are so many ways to use texture other than using cardstock that is textured:/  Using glitter, paints, crumbled paper, tearing paper, feathers, twine, stitching, flock, you name it!  See and some of you thought it just stopped at textured cardstock.
   2. In light of Mother's Day I know you all will have plenty of photo's to scrap so Make this your focus for this challenge.  Anything that will represent this day.
   3. Use the colors red and Pink or Just Red or just Pink but you must one of the two colors!

I tackled this challenge head one. If you know my work you know I love texture. I used texture paste on the banners. I added texture with twine, gems, stick pin, trims, etc.  This page is also of my mom. We were celebrating her last birthday at our apartment.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Cosmo Cricket), cards (Webster's Pages and October Afternoon) stickers (American Crafts and Studio Calico), twine (Timeless Twine),decorative tape (Target and Doddle Bug Designs), stamps (EK Success), spray mist (Heidi Swapp), ink (Stampabilites and Quick Quotes) chalk pencils (Pebbles Inc.), gems (The Eyelet Outlet), stick pin and button (Webster's Pages), clothes pin, texture paste (Liquidex) doily and pom-poms,
I love how this page came out it has my favorite products on it and some great pictures. Don't you just love my haircut in the photo. Don't we all have bad haircuts when you were little. I know I so did.
The sponsor for this month is from My Wise Designs. One lucky entrant will get this lovely pack of journaling cards.

Link up you creations here for a chance for the prize.
