SS #9 Reveal

Happy Saturday everyone. Hope it is nice and sunny where you are at because it is not here. Here it is cold and rainy (it just cleared up, LOL) which I don't normally mind but today I have a pet costume contest to get to and other things to do and I am already dragging. Yes, I am typing this up with a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Biggby's in front of me but that might be a bad thing since coffee makes me sleepy most of the time.
Here is the the Simple Sketches  #9 sketch reveal
Here is what I came up with.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Fancy Pants Designs), stickers (Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts and Glitz Designs), flair (Studio G), doily, diy enamel dots, washi tape (Scotch and K & Co.) and mist (Studio Calico)
To tell the truth when I finished this page I didn't like it but since then I think this has to be my favorite one I did this month. Strange how that worked out. The page is of my mom when she is her late teens.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out Simple Sketches blog every Saturday for a new sketch.
God Bless,

Trick-or-Treat Bag

Today I have a post up on Timeless Twine blog with a cute Halloween bag that is perfect for a kid to hold their candy.
I just took a plain gift bag and decorated with scraps and twine.
Supplies: pattern paper and sticker (Authentique), mist (Heidi Swapp), twine (Timeless Twine), diecut (?), black ink (Stampabilities), doily and diy enamel dots.
To create the pom-pom I wrapped twine around 50 times two fingers. Tie center, snip ends and trim to size. To jazz up a flat sticker I outlined it in twine.
I just couldn't resist adding some twine to the handle.
Here are the twines I used: black kraftpumpkin orange and purple passion.

Call Me

Sorry, for such a late Simple Sketches reveal. My week has been out of control working on my cards for Paper Crafts World Card Making Day contest. In one week 12 cards were made and onto hoping they will arrive safely.
Anyways, here is the latest sketch. I love the tags and how this layout keeps your eye moving around the page.
Here is my take.
Supplies: cardstock (The PAper Studio), pattern paper (Fancy Pants Designs), envelope(Fancy Pants Designs), sticker (American Crafts), twine (Timeless Twine), mask (Studio Calico), washi tape (K&Co.) and diy enamel dots.
When  was a Hobby Lobby last week I was on the hunt for a new collection of paper to play with on WCMD. When I saw hey have the Trendsetter collection pad from Fancy Pants I jumped on it. I had it earlier this year and went through it in a month.  I thought the paper was perfect for my subject since it already had the "Call Me" printed on the paper.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to hop on over to the SS blog to see what the other ladies came up with.

Premade Halloween Layout

Linked up at Paper Issues

I can't believe it has been six months since I joined the Embellish Me Happy design team. This is my last EMH post as a member.
For this month's theme is Halloween. For my family we keep it low key. I make a costume for Buster, my mom and myself. I make some candy and that is about it. Even though we don't go big I still want to capture those memories. I ended up creating a scrapbook page so I just have to add a photo at the end of the month.
Supplies pattern paper (ScrapWorks, The Paper Studio and Authentique), sticker (Jolee's and Authentique, tags (Coreinations,? and 7 Gypsies), twine (Timeless Twine),mask (Studio Calico), mist (Studio Calico and Heidi Swapp),wood veneer (Feckle Fawn), paint (Clearsnap), Stickles, stamp (Jenni Bowlin Merchantile), gems (Eyelet Outlet), decoative tape (Target) and diy enamled dots
I usually don't like my Halloween pages but the reason why was I never had a paper for this hoilday. I ended up buying a collection this summer and boy does that make a difference when you have ther right supplies.
Be sure to link up you Halloween theme projet here for a chance at our monthly prize.

Blank Halloween Layout

Linked up at Paper Issues

Today's twine project I am going to share with you a cute Halloween layout that I used twine t to outline the paper layers. I love doing this becuse it adds a texture and it makes the layers look polished.
Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts),pattern paper (The Robin's Nest and The Paper Studio), twine (Timeless Twine), punch (EK Success), doily, stickers (Authentique, Soft Spoke, and American Crafts), vellum envelope, and wiggle eyes
This page is one that I made ahead of time than when the photos would actually be taken. The key is leave a nice big space blank so you have room for photo pacement because you never know what style and sizt the photos you will end up taking. Plus, some of you know how busy my life has been so this allows to scrap the upcoming holiday photos so much sooner.
The twine I used for this page are Autumn SplendorBlack KraftPurple Passion and Pumpkin Orange.

Thanks for stopping by to see the newly created twine project. I would love to see yours so be sure to post your creations to our facebook page. Have a twinetasic day.
