Valentine Card Recap

Last week was Valentine's Day. I made some special cards for my family. In addition to the cards, I made each family member a special sweet treat. For dinner, I made heart-shaped pizzas and chili.

This was my mom's card. Her sweet treat was chocolate brownies with frosting.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Pink Paislee and American Crafts), die cuts (American Crafts and Crate Paper), chipboard (Maya Road), washi tape (Scotch Expressions) and wood veneer (Crate Paper)

This pop-up box card was my dad's. He also got lemon biscotti.
Supplies: cardstock (My Mind's Eye), pattern paper (Crate Paper), die cuts (Crate Paper), chipboard (Simple Stories and Maya Road), wood veneer (Crate Paper), and washi tape (Scotch Expressions)

The last card was for my brother to go along with his oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Studio Calico and Crate Paper), die cuts (Crate Paper), chipboard (Maya Road), and Wash tape (Scotch Expressions)

Happy Wish Card

I am back today to share a card with you that I created for the Scrapbook & Cards Today monthly sketch challenge.

Here is my take on it. That butterfly tag is super old, it is from American Crafts Gardenia collection.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Pretty Little Studio), die cuts (Pretty Little Studio), tag (American Crafts), stickers (Crate Paper), baker's twine (My Mind's Eye), border punch (EK Success), foil (Heidi Swapp) and Minc

From an angle, you can tell the abstract line paper is foiled. I like how this card came together and it is a little different for me with so many bold patterns and colors all together.
