Layout Smile - The Wild Hare Kit Club

I meant to post this layout that I created here earlier in the week but I kept getting sidetracked by yard work or cooking. Anyways, enough of the excuses.
Here is the layout that I created of my dad using my September's hand-curated kit by The Wild Hare Kit Club.

Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basics), pattern paper (Pebbles and Pinkfresh Studio), wood veneer (Pebbles (sequins (SpiegleMpm Scraps), die cuts (Pinkfresh Studio), flair (?), and stickers (Pinkfresh Studio and American Crafts), and bakers twine

Here is a little closer look of the hand-stitched arrow. To see more details head on over to The Wild Hare Kit blog.

Crazy Fam - SBC #473

I am happy to share with you today's Scrapbook Challenges sketch #473, this sketch is one I created.

Here is my take on it.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Fancy Pants Designs, Die Cuts With a View, and Studio Calico), journaling card (Project Life), diecuts (Basic Grey), flair (Studio G), doily (doodlebug Designs), washi tape (Scotch Brand), border punch (EK Success), ink (Ranger) stickers (Studio Calico), die (Spellbinders), color pencils (Faber-Castell) and manual die cutter (Spellbinders).

Here are a few close-ups. I just recently received some watercolor pencils and I have to say I am in love with them. I used them one the arrow diecut.

Bride & Groom

Scrapbook Challenges sketch reveal in #470. I love the simplicity of this design. I know me and simple is like water and oil, they don't just mix. however, some photos command a more simple design to highlight the moment.

This page might shock some of my friends. I didn't use any doilies and sequins on it. I my might even faint. lol.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill Basic and Die Cuts With a View), pattern paper (Studio Calico and American Crafts), transparency (American Crafts), stickers (American Crafts, Studio Calico and Heidi Swapp), journaling card (Project Life), flair (Studio Calico), chipboard (Studio Calico), washi tape (The Paper Studio), manual die (American Crafts), manual die cutter (Spellbinders), markers (Bic and Faber-Castell)and mist (Tattered Angels)

While going through my stash I came across the heart die cut and thought it was perfect for this page. I just cut out a couple more hearts and the banner to finish the cluster.

Polka Dot Pumpkin Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Zappy Dots Blog Hop. The hop themes are polka dots, pumpkins and/or fall. I choose polka dots and a muted color palette.

Supplies: cardstock (The PAper Studio), pattern paper (Crate Paper), twine (Timeless Twine), punch (Fiskars) and flair (Zappy Dots)
For this card I used one of the flair bades from the Follow Your Bliss 5 Flair Buttons set.
I just wrapped two pieces of twine around the flap of the card and tied a nice little bow.
I also created a layout of a cute baby squirrel I found while painting outside.  For this page I used one of the badges from Pink Flowers set and Love Birds set.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio), pattern paper (Crate Paper and Fancy Pants Designs), flair (Zappy Dots), pom-pom trim, doily, embossing folders and machine (Sizzix), ink (Quick Quotes ans Stampabilities), twine (Timeless Twine), punch (Ek Success), envelope (Bella Creationz), stamp (K & Co.), stickers (October Afternoon) and overlays (Crate Paper)

Today is my first projects as a member of the Zappy Dots design team. I have to say I am loving it. Their designs are great and the size of them are workable too.
I fell in love with these Damask Hearts
I ended up creating a trio of things perfect for gift giving.
Supplies: patten paper (Scrap Works), cardstock (The Paper Studio),  punches (Fikars and EK Success), fair (Zappy Dots), embossing machine and folders (Sizzix), ink (Quick Quotes and Stampabilities), gems (Eyelet Outlet),stitch template (American Crafts), washi tape (Queen & CO.) twine (Timeless Twine),gift bag, and doily.
For this bow I used this tutorial. It is a never fail one since I never had a problem making these.
Here is a close-up of the gift bag.
I am loving the flair on this card. I added a gem strip to the edge. The sentiments is stitched with twine.
