Dream Room

Last summer I started to redo my craft room. It so a super slow process since most of my family was ill some way or the other. Last, week after my mom kept pestering my dad I got it finished. Warning this is very photo heavy.
Here are the before pics.

All my scrappy goodies were sitting on the floor It went past the window.
There is the wood for the shelf. It was there for a couple of months.

The table had a lot of stuff on it so it made working on anything difficult.
The closet was super messy.

Here are the after pics.
Nothing is on the floor.
Jars and twine has a home.

Clear table.
I love the shelf my dad built for me.  I think I will keep it unpainted.

I love the chalkboard.
I have this under the table. It stores my stickers, rub-ons and adhesive.
The closet looks cleaner.

Thanks for stopping by for the tour. I am so happy how it came out.

Love Card

Since the biggest love holiday of the year is approaching I have been making love cards.
Here is one I just made. I used the sketch from Crafty Steals blog.
For the half of the pennants in the banner I used epoxy stickers and the other half were sheet music stickers from Lily Bee Designs. Twine is the Valentine's Bakers Twine {Strawberry Cupcake} by Timeless Twine.

Later today I will show off my redo the craft room.

Tie It Up

Today is the second week for the current challenge over at ABAC. The continuing challenge is Tie It Up which means anything you can tie needs to be used on your project.
This notebook I did for my mom because she has been begging for one for awhile. I guess she likes all the other ones I made for myself and gave as gifts that she wanted one too.

Last week I created this page that I am in love with. I made it for Colorful Creations "So You Think You Can Scrap" challenge.
On this page I only used two pattern papers.
For the pinwheel I cover plain cardstock is washi tape.
I used photo corners for the arrows.
Also here is a card I did that I love. Also for this card I got to use some of my new goodies form A Cherry On Top.
For this card I used Pamela Young's sketch #229

I applied glossy accents to the center of the medallion and added a gem to the center.
Here is a close-up of the card.

Crochet Flower Gone Bad

A couple of weeks ago I saw this cool video the web of making a crochet flower out of twine. I thought that was a neat idea. I sat down and set to work. An hour later, I still had nothing that represents a flower. After messing around with different stitches I ended up with the number 8.
Here is what I did.

1. Chain 5 on a I hook.
2. Slip stitch in first chain. It will make a ring.
3. Chain three and do nine double crochets in the ring.
4. Chain 7.
5. Repeat step 3 until the second ring is filled with double crochets.

Here is the finished card I used this number.

Supplies: white cardstock, celebrate paper by My Mind;s Eye, pattern paper - Lily Bee Designs, washi
tape - Queen & Co. , twine - Timeless Twine.
Stop by TT blog and see more info on the twine.

Smashed

Over the weekend I Smashed in my Smash book. I am using this as a book to try new things and to remember stuff and also using it as a design book. Basically I am using it as a hodgepodge book.
This time I am doing a 2013 bucket list.

As you can tell it is far from my normal look in projects. I actually did doodling.
The reason I did the bucket list is because I saw this challenge over at Frosted Designs.
