Supreme Scrapbook Tournament Week 1

This week was the start of an international scrapbooking and card tournament that is being held online, I am in both. For awhile I didn't think I was going to play since the  USA participants was I and another lady and we need ten people to qualify. I put a little cry for help to  my scrapping peeps and they came in filled those spots. Thanks ladies. 

Anyway, it is a weekly challenge that the players vote on. That means not all f us will move to the next round. If I don't go on I don't mind because I love my page and wouldn't change a thing. 

Here were the challenge rules for this week. 

Make a double layout or double mixed media project that shows where your live. 

But it all has to be within 1000 steps from your home!!!!

You can not use any spray inks!

You will have to use at least 3 photos on your project (scrapbooking and mixed media!!)

You will have to add a visible journaling of at least 50 words

Here is my page. I did lots of layers and I kept adding and adding. If the deadline was not tonight I would probably still be adding. LOL. I did a double spread of the lake/pond that is less than 1,000 steps from my home. 

Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and American Crafts), pattern paper (Crate Paper and Sassafras Lass), stickers (American crafts, Target0, My Mind's Eye, and Jillibean Soup), stamp (Paper Bakery Kit Club and 7 Gypsies), ink (Quick Quotes, A Muse Studio and Stampabilities), stencil ( Crafters Workshop), punch (We R Memory Keepers), brads and eyelets (We R Memory Keepers and Basic Grey), die cut (American Crafts), card (Becky Higgins Project Life), electronic die cutter and cartridge (Provo Craft), washi tape (Target), sequins (Treehouse Company), and doily). 

Here is my journaling. I love that little push pin that was stamped onto a scrap paper.

The challenge for the card was to make an ATC (Artist Trading Card) with the theme Home. Along with that there were some do's and don'ts 

There has to be a title/quote/wish on the card

You can not use any spray inks or flowers

You can not use any kind of cutting machine

You can not use any image with a house on it (that is a challenge huh!!!)
