The Christmas Look

Today I am going to share a page I did over the weekend. It is of me on Christmas Eve making a goofy look.
Seems like my Dad likes to photograph me when I am not paying attention. Hopefully, this year he will get a good photo, but I doubt it since he probably don't want to break a tradition.
My unusal item on this page is the frame. I made it out of two paper strews.
I made this for a challenge over at Club CK and day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas over at Frosted Designs.

Sketch-N-Scrap Application

Yesterday, I found some time to get a couple of layouts done. One of them was of a Christmas that took place about 15 years ago. Man, I feel kind of old.'
This was done for a design team application for Sketch-N-Scrap. I use their sketch which can be found here.

I thread tulle through the middle button. If you buy the white or ivory tulle it is easy to change the color. Simply, color it with markers or ink.

Redecorating

I was not planing on doing a layout for Sketchy Thursday's 8.11 sketch because I couldn't figure out what to do it on. I had these two photos on my desk for a week and finally decided on just to go for it. I like how it came out. I even used by beloved and guarded paper (Dear Lizzy collection - Enchanted by American Crafts) on a page for my dog. I never though of using it before since I thought it was to girly for him. What do you think?

The photos are of Buster looking through pages of furniture my mom took out of a catalog. I think he is trying to find a new sofa.

Paper

My dog loves paper. When holidays roll by he acts a little crazy when he tries to get the wrapping paper from us. I did this page to show how much he loves it.

A Hidden Photo

This page I wanted to add an extra photo but I didn't want to have small pictures on this 8 x 8 page. I had some cute little file folders from the Rusty Pickle came to my rescue.
Here is what the page looks like when the folder it closed.

Here it is when it is open,

The folder allowed me to add an extra photo and journaling without making this page look overwhelming.
I love how this page came together with all the different textures. Thanks for visiting. I will see you tomorrow with another page.

Here is what I came up with.

A Layout

Here is  page I did for this week using a Frosted Design sketch #18.
Here is the sketch:
Here is my take on it.
Property of MJ's Kraze
I was able to put this page together within 30 minutes. I love the simplicity of this sketch which allowed me to add items that I would normally wouldn't use. Like that star I had that for years and I finally found a use for it that really makes a statement.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
