First off, don't lose your my site when Blogger closes follow me through Bloglovin'. I switch to it a month ago and I am loving it.  look for the link on my right sidebar.
This month has held a lot of goodbyes for me.
The first goodbye went to a online place I called home for over 3 years. It was a club that I got to get to know a lot ladies that I considered my friends. Club CK officially shut down on June 15th. To document my time there I created this page. This I am entering in Frosted Designs Girlfriends blog hop.
Supplies: pattern paper (Bo Bunny), stickers: (Creating Keepsakes, Bo Bunny and Glitz Designs), Baker's cording (Crafty Steals Basics), gem (Zva Creative), die cuts (?), and button (Webster's Pages)
The other goodbye's went to design teams. I am going to share my favorite project I created for each team.
The Robin's Nest

Polka Dot Pixies

Sketch~N~Scrap
Even with all these ends there has been new beginnings and opportunities, which I will be able to share with you a few months
I will post the winner to the product challenge Monday.

The Christmas Look

Today I am going to share a page I did over the weekend. It is of me on Christmas Eve making a goofy look.
Seems like my Dad likes to photograph me when I am not paying attention. Hopefully, this year he will get a good photo, but I doubt it since he probably don't want to break a tradition.
My unusal item on this page is the frame. I made it out of two paper strews.
I made this for a challenge over at Club CK and day 5 of the 12 days of Christmas over at Frosted Designs.

Mother's Day Hop

Welcome to your third stop. If you didn't come by the way of Melissa Johnson., go back to the start to Amanda because you don't want to miss any of these projects.
I am going to share with you a card and a necklace I made for my mom this year.
The card was made with three different collections from Cosmo Cricket (Early Bird, Salt Air and Jolly By Jolly - the banner was made with it)
Up next is a rolled flower necklace. I know it is not the kind of necklace you had in mind but my mom like camouflage material so I thought she would love this.
All you need is:
1 1/2" x 15" strip of fabric folded in half width-wise.
Chain
Hot glue
Beads
Felt

Steps
1. Cut a 2" circle out of felt.
2. Glue one end of the strip in the center. Twist stripe and glue down. Let it coil around itself.
3. Trim any excess felt off the flower.
4. Cut a strip of felt and glue to center of chain so it looks like a tab. Glue tab to back of flower.
5.Glue on you beads.

Your next stop is to Robyn .
Enjoy.

Spring Blog Hop

I am going to share with you hoppers how to create this cute little Easter basket.

First you need to cut twenty-six 1/2" x 11"  strips of cardstock.  Use eight of the strips to create the basket base. Weave them to get something to look like this.
Tips:
1. Use glue to hold everything in place.
2. Bend every other strip like in the photo below to make the weaving process easier.
3. 3 1/2" will be unweaved on all sides.
Once the base is done fold up the unweaved portion of the strips to create the sides of the basket.

Work your way around the basket to create the sides. One strip will not be enough to finish one row.
Tips:
1. On the first and last rows glue it the weaves together.
2. Glue the second strip to the first one when you need.
3. End each strip and the inside of basket.
To make the handle you will need the six remaining strips. It kind of looks like a twisted paper chain.
I show you with different colors so it will be easier to see.
First lay two strips like this:and glue the ends together.

Then fold the one that is on the bottom over the top. Like this.

Keep repeating this step until you use your remaining strips.
Tip:
1. Glue extra strips when you need them.
Here is what the handle design looks.

Attach the handle with brads. To decorate, I used a crepe paper to make a ruffle. Ribbon and flowers are them added. If you are impatience like me you will probably use hot glue to attach the decorations.
