I am super excited to share my first blog post dedicated Canvas Corp Brands as part of their scrapbooking creative crew member. On these posts I will share you step by steps on how to create the projects and also links to the CCB brands.
This first project has to do with Valentine's Day. All the members were given a blank card to create a one of a kind valentine for someone special. The special person that will be receiving this is an online friend who I never met but emailed and skyped with the past year. She listens to my ramblings and is willing to stay up late to fit in my crazy routine. She is a great friend and is super funny. Kelly Jean, aka kelsterjean,(if you are reading this you might want to stop now because the card has not made it to you yet) is her name and she is a sweet and she calms me down when I am critical of myself, like, when I second guess myself when I heard I made it to this team.
Supplies from Canvas Corp Brands:
ribbon
Sticker flipbook
Other supplies:
flower punch
1" circle punch
fancy corner punch
scissor
glue
red doily
gold doily
Step 1: cover card base with pattern paper.Step 2: Punch the corners on the Christmas paper and adhere. Yes, I use a holiday paper on my card.
Step 3: Adhere doilies. I used a partial gold doily because that is all that will be shown. This way you save on supplies and weight on the card.
Step 4: Cut pennants from pattern paper and adhere.
Step 5: Adhere reminder pattern paper.
Step 6: Add stickers.
Step 7: Cut a heart from the burlap and adhere.
Step 8: Add tangle and highlight some of the areas with the glimmer glam.
Step 9 Adhere ribbon.
Step 10: With the scraps make a envelope seal by punching a circle and shape from them.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Canvas Corp Brands blog to see what the rest of the stunning cards the members created. Also there is a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Canvas Corp Brands online store.
