It's The Most .... - SID

Can believe it is already mid-November?  You know what that means it is time for Stick It Down card sketch reveal.

With this sketch, the heart dangles inspired be to create a Christmas card.
Supplies: cardstock (Cardstock Warehouse), embossing folder (Echo Park Paper Co.), sequins (SpiegelMim Scraps), sticker (My Mind's Eye), ink (Altenew)

The banner was a sticker that I backed with cardstock to turn it into a die-cut. I then used foam adhesive to attach it.

I love how the glitter cardstock makes this simple card are eye grabber.
You have until the end of the month to play along with any - or all! - of our sketch challenges. Just post a link to your creation at Stick It Down blog in the sidebar. If you share on social media, be sure to tag #StickItDown.

Butterfly Birthday @ Stick It Down

Happy Monday, time to get back to the old grindstone, or if you are like me your weekend was filled with business work. Today, I will be sharing my take in this month's sketch from Stick It Down.
When I first saw this sketch I knew that I wanted to use the watercolor resist pad that I got for Christmas.
Supplies: cardstock (Cardstock Warehouse), pattern paper (Target), die cuts (Target), ink (Altenew), manual die (Spellbinders), sticker (Pebbles Inc.), blending brushes (Picket Fence)

Here is a closer look. I love using the blending brushes on this card it allowed me to create a nice ombre effect.

The butterfly and swirl die cuts also came from the same watercolor paper pad as the resist paper.

This month's prize for one lucky crafter in this Pinkfresh Studio stamp. To enter all you have to do is submit an entry of a card or layout using one of this month's Stick It Down sketches.

Stamping with Die Cuts

It is Friday, May 22, 2020, for those who need the reminder. Today, I will be sharing with you how to create stamps with your dies.
All you need is some thin craft foam to create these foam stamps. I used these fun party icons by Frantic Stamper.
With the foam die cuts, I attached them to a stamping block with a repositionable adhesive. When stamping a word make sure the word is backwards on the stamping block. Treat these like normal stamps.
This "Make a Wish" die is amazing since creates is an edger die so that means all those letters stay attached to the bottom part of the cardstock.

Here is the end result. A custom stamp pattern paper card using dies.

Here's The Scoop Card

At the moment, I am loving all things stamping so I have been organizing them. I had a shocking realization that I have over 130 stamp sets and recently I bought myself some new stamps at Simon Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com as a birthday gift to me.

Here is a card that I made for my brother's upcoming birthday. He is a big foodie and dog lover so I thought these stamp sets that I used were a perfect match to him.
Supplies: cardstock (My Mind's Eye and The Paper Studio), journaling card (Becky Higgins), stamps (Simon Says Stamp and Altenew), tools: MISTI, markers (Spectrum Noir), stamping ink (Hero Arts and Momento), and washi tape (Scotch Brand Expressions)

I am loving the Altenew inside sentiment stamp set. I see a ton of use of this set in the future.
