Inspiration from ScrapFriends DT

I am applying for a design team position over at ScrapFriends. They provided a photo which I had to make a project which was inspired from it.
Here is the inspiration.

When I saw this I knew I wanted to keep it pretty clean but still wanted a lot of details.
I hand stitched the pearl beads and actually used some rubber stamps on my page.

Card and News

Here is a cute card I made using some paper I got a couple of years ago for my birthday. It is by K & Company's collection Amy Butler Solo. I love the grid pattern I did with the flowers. I used this sketch from CPS which I modified a little bit.

Glitz Card

I love the Glitz Design products. Their quality and design of there products are great. Wen it came time to make a card for a card game I was in on Club CK I knew what company I was going to use since I wanted to use the fake pearl stick pins I made.
Here is what I came up with.

Birthday

I know my birthday is coming up but I thought I would make my mom's birthday card with this cute # 14 sketch I found on Frosted Designs. I also made it for this week's card challenge on Club CK. Now I just have to wait 2 months to give it to her ( or I make her a new one since I usually will forget were I put it).

Springy Card

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Here it is a rainy day that is making me sleepy. Despite of this weather I made this cute card take will brighten anybody's day. I used this simple and cute sketch from CPS- card sketches. I used #256. I am also using this for a weekly card challenge to use a bird on Club CK.

Let's Get Skethy Layout

Hi I am doing a quick post to show off this page I created using the Let's Get Sketchy #3 sketch . I really wanted to do this but I completely forgot about until the last hour. Here is my take on this great sketch.

 

Still Here

I am still here. I know I have not posted in almost a week. I have something that is going on right now that needs attention it is about my dog.
On to more exciting news, I got my driver's permit. Now, I just have to get over the fear of driving on the freeway.
While right now I am going to show your these pages I created.
I was inspired by a page that was created by Kelly F . I absolutely love her work. I intimidated but I love how my page came out.

I also used a Creative Scrappers #199 sketch. It is my first time participating over there.

Favorites

I just want to do a quick post this evening to show some of my favorite recent layouts I did over the last two weeks.

This one I used Artful Delight's March sketch. 

I use spray mist with little embellishments.

This one I stitched the word "Wish" on the second page.

I made the stick pin that is in the top cluster and I used the Paper Bakery #1 March sketch. 

3.12 Photos

I took the challenge on Elizabeth Kartchner's blog. It was to take a dozen photos yesterday. I made a collage of my doings. Sorry for the poor quality of some of the photos. It was a dark day.

Blue Birthday

Here is my second post for today. I guess I am making up for the lack of posting from last week.
 I want to show you this card that is going to be my grandmother's birthday card, since her favorite color is blue. Now I have to wait 5 months to give it to her.

I used three different paper collection to make this decor. Dear Lizzy (Enchanted),  K & CO. (Amy Butler papers) and My Mind's Eye (Laundry Line).
I just didn't make this for the contest. I am actually going to use some of it for my birthday this month.

Cutting It Close

   In deadline is last than a hour away, I am finally getting around to posting it. That is typical of me when I have been working a big project which I will show tomorrow.

I saw this cute sketch over a the Paper Bakery site and knew I had to make a card with it.

I came up with this classic looking card.

Three Made

Thursday my mom and I made cards together. I made three while she made one I didn't get to see hers since it is my birthday card.
I love this # 254 sketch from CPS
I made two cards using a scrap pack I bought over five years ago.

I also made this monochromatic card for the card challenge over at Club CK.
