Scrapbook Generation Blog Hop

Welcome to the SG Blog Hop for June, if this is your first stop, you might like to start at the Scrapbook Generation blog and then hop through each link. Here is the list in case you get lost.
Scrapbook Generation blog - http://scrapbookgeneration.blogspot.com/
Mandi - http://mjskraze.blogspot.com/ <<<<<<You are Here
Each blog will share a project using one of the SG sketches as a starting point. You can find the sketches in their books and downloads in the SG store, and there is a free one every month in case you wanted to try it out.

My choice of sketch was the third sketch that was for three photos from the Sketches for Scrapbookers - One Page Sketches.
This page of My late grandpa and his army buddies is the second page of a double layout I did. The photo were taken in 1986.
Supplies: cardstock (The Paper Studio and Bazzil) pattern paper (Echo Park and Simple Stories), twine (Timeless Twine), stickers (Fancy Pants Designs, Ek Success, Glitz Designs and My Little Shoebox), mask (The Crafter's Workshop), mist (Ranger), modeling paste, border punch (EK Success), and diamond dew drops (The Robin's Nest
I didn't have and "I" for the word "Big" so I used an upside down exclamation point. The page is called Big Red One because that was the infantry they were in during World War II. These men went through a lot over seas. They were on the beaches of Normandy during D-Day.

Next on the hop is Laureen, leave a comment on each blog and one lucky commenter will receive a free sketch bundle of their choice from the store. The winner will be draw on June 10th, so you have one week to leave a comment.
