Grandma

I did this page about my Grandma on my Mom's side. I never knew her because she passed away when my mom was a teenager. I thought this page is perfect to honor her.

It was inspired by this card that I am selling here

Thanks and a Layout

I would like to say thanks Burlap & Buttercups for the Dec. kit they donated to Frosted Designs. I got it yesterday. It came with this pleated strip which I used on a layout I did last night. I say it came he perfect day.

I used this a sketch from Burlap & Buttercups and came up with this year.

When I did this page I did it for an One Hour Challenge on the Club CK blog.
I completed within the hour. I made all the accordion flowers during the challenge.

New stuff

This page I did was based on the Sketchy Thursday 1.5 sketch.

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket, the Paper Studio, We R Memory Keepers, American Craft, Making Memories, Simplicity, and K & Company.
The story is about my mom when she was little and an ice cream sandwich.

I also created the cute bookmark that was made out of plain cardstock.

Handmade Christmas Gifts

Every year I make my grandparents something for their presents.
I bought an unfinished shadow box from Hobby Lobby for my grandma and an unfinished waste paper basket for my grandpa. I painted and covered both in scrapbooking papers.

This is what I made for my dog for Christmas.

A turkey leg and a candy bar. If you like these dog toys, which are durable you can buy them from me http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/MJsKraze/2/7/161499/

My favorite Cookie

Now onto something that is sweet. My all-time favorite Christmas cookie is Gingerbread. I love the warmth taste and the smell.
This year I had to make two batches. The first one I did a different recipe than I normally do since I only had blackstrap molasses.  Let me just say those things were not edible. They turned out to be hard as rocks after they cooled. Instead of throwing them away I used them as ornaments. Now in the rooms were there are trees you have a nice air freshener.
The next day after the "ornaments" I made tasty and edible cookies using regular molasses, which I got the night before.
Here is page how they looked.

Inspired #4

As I promised the card coming up was inspired by something else besides a jacket. This time it was a Christmas stocking that I saw on Pretty Little Studio's blog, which they pinned form pinterest.

Here is the card

I think I am addicted to hounds- tooth because I have more than five different colors in my stash. It is so classic, so I know it will never go out of style.

Inspired #2

I made another card that was inspired from the same jacket from Moxie Fab World blog

Here is the creation:
