Today's birthday challenge for S~N~S has to do with baker's twine, of course. I love my twine and I thought this would be a time to do a product challenge.
On this page I used the twine to frame my photos and I also did a doodle trail.

I love the twine trail and the little star confetti from my border punch.
I use glossy accents is my glue of choice. I let it set up a bit before I lay my twine onto it.
Now, it is your turn to have some create a layout or card and upload it below. One lucky person will win this:
Ten yards of each color of twine.
If you are an international winner I will give you a $20.00 gift certificate to the Scrapbook Nerds store.
If the linking tool don't work just leave the link in the comment section. You have until June 28th 12 a.m. to have your card or layout posted.
Lovely layout and GREAT prize! I love how you always are so creative with your use of twine! Great idea to frame to picture and I adore that big arrow! Great challenge!
ReplyDeleteLove your layout Mandi and all the great use of twine! What an awesome prize package too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the twine around the photos! Might have to try that! Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeletegreat page Mandi! Question for ya ... how do you adhere your twine on the page? Do you use glue dots, or clear liquid glue, or something else? Your doodle trail looks so perfect, but when I stick twine down it often looks flimsy. Would love your input! :)

What an awesome layout . . . and love your use of the twine. And what a GREAT prize, too. I just love baker's twine and have just started adding to my "collection". :) Here's a layout I've been working on for the past 2 weeks or so . . . kept getting distracted as I waiting for things to dry.
